Humanitarian AID

IADC Supporting targeted responses to meet humanitarian and food assistance needs of conflict and disaster affected Afghans. The conflict took an extreme toll on civilian from pass decade therefore thousands of Afghan children, women and men effected from conflict combine with a severe drought increases the number of people need humanitarian aid. Italy Building resilience by supporting community-based mechanisms that incorporate disaster risk reduction and emergence preparedness. Encouraging coherent and coordinated national disaster preparedness and humanitarian response systems.

Activities
• The IADC contributed to emergency relief by regular contribution to the UN Central Emergency Response Fund and implementing specific programs in collaboration with UN agencies. The initiatives aim to support internally displaced people (IDPs) and voluntary returnees from Iran and Pakistan.

• The IADC supporting ongoing development program in Herat and Ghor provinces to strengthening community-based services for maternal, under five and child nutrition

• The IADC support the ICRC programme to provide physical rehabilitation services to mine amputees and war victims

• In Collaboration with UNFPA ,IADC providing emergency and reproductive health services and prevent gender based violence to displaced population
